How to Play Solitaire (Klondike)

Solitaire, also known as Klondike, is a classic single-player card game that challenges your focus and logic.

Objective

The goal is to move all the cards to the four foundation piles at the top, sorted by suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades) in ascending order (Ace to King).

Setup

• The game uses a standard 52-card deck.
• Seven columns (the tableau) are laid out, with one card in the first pile, two in the second, and so on.
• Only the top card in each column is face-up.
• The remaining cards form the stock pile.

Gameplay

1. Move cards between tableau columns in descending order and alternating colors (e.g., red 7 on black 8).
2. You can move a King to any empty column.
3. Draw from the stock pile to reveal new cards.
4. Move Aces to the foundation piles and build upward.

Winning

You win when all cards are moved to their foundation piles!

Tips

• Focus on uncovering hidden cards early.
• Move Aces and low cards to foundations when possible.
• Avoid unnecessary draws from the stock to maximize options.
